Paracox®-5

Paracox-5 is a live, attenuated vaccine indicated for coccidiosis in chickens. It is effective in reducing infections and clinical symptoms caused by Eimeria acervulina, E. maxima, E. mitis, and E. tenella.

With Paracox-5, birds receive protection from a single application, and they remain protected for the entire broiler cycle with a reduced risk of late outbreaks. Paracox-5 can be administered by spray cabinet or applied directly to feed.

The vaccine gives producers the opportunity to eliminate in-feed medications from their program, produce a value-added product and meet growing consumer demand for drug-birds. Because there are no concerns about drug residues and withdrawal times, producers can also be more flexible when marketing their birds. In addition, this vaccine simplifies treatment regimens because there is no need for complicated drug-rotation programs.

Paracox-5 eliminates the undesirable side effects associated with some in-feed anticoccidials, as well as the risk of toxicity in non-target species.
